It is that time of year again! Generation Beauty is back with even more brands and more to offer...and unfortunately, most likely more people. My friend and I are going to hit it hard again and hopefully come away with lots of goodies. Last year was great...not too crowded, plenty of time to see all the booths over two days. Since it was only the second year, it wasn't nearly as large as I expect this year to be. Here's hoping there's plenty of time to see everything!
One neat thing about this year is that there is an app, where you can track the schedule, the booth locations, freebies, everything. I'm pretty sure last year people double (or quadruple) dipped on the freebies from some booths, I'm wondering if they have made changes to take that into account...if only to make sure that all attendees get something.
Also, can we squee over the brands for this year?
My favorites from last year were Cargo (lovely ladies at the booth who hooked me up with products), Laneige (who were nice enough to contact me after the show and offer me product to try), Soho (love the cute patterned bags!), and Temptu (because I won a machine and will forever love them for that! so sad they aren't on the list for this year). For this year, I'm especially excited for IT cosmetics and Klorane (my hair eats their dry shampoo lol). Breakups to Makeup also have adorable bags and I'm hoping they add them to the swag (didn't get an Ipsy bag this year from them so hopefully here's my chance!).
